The Adorama Inspire is coming to New York City from June 25 to July 1.
The weeklong event hopes to inspire and educate creators with over 40 sessions, workshops, and panel discussions on everything from photography to visual storytelling to audio and sound, and plenty more—all of it led by some of the industry’s most talented individuals. With their knowledge and insight, these experts hope to inspire new ideas, encourage collaboration, and provide the creative community with the necessary tools to create anything they can imagine.
There will be workshops in travel photography, drone photography, food photography, and architecture photography, to name a few. There will also be events for cinematographers, audio enthusiast, and musicians—all of which will offer hands-on opportunities to use professional equipment.
Some notable events (with a brief description from the website) will include:
“Join photographer Chris Burkard and Michael Bonocore [our editor-in-chief over at Resource Travel] for a social media discussion that will cover an in depth review of why and how we use social media as a storytelling tool in the digital age.”
“Kim Henry and Eric Paré are traveling the world with their light tubes. Together, they mix light-painting and landscape photography in incredible locations and share every single tip about their techniques. Join them for a dynamic presentation!”
“Join @tutes for a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York like never before on a VIP Empty Met tour. Head inside the Met before opening and see its most famous exhibits with one of the museum’s own guides. Trace more than 5,000 years of human history and get up close to the highlights without the usual crowds. Throughout the tour, there will be time to snap photos of your favorite works.”
Adorama Inspire is a “designed-to-share” experience and most sessions will be entirely free to attend! It will also be a perfect place to make connections with other creators as well as see all the latest gear and technology from top brands like Canon, Nikon, Intel, and Panasonic.
